Crossfire by Stephen

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace,

Today I find that I am in the mood to just listen to this song over and over on repeat while I am working on other things. Sometimes a mellow song like this is all I need. What do you guys think?

Be Prepared (Lion King Cover) by Jonathan Young

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

I absolutely love anything Disney related. Sometimes though, the songs are a little too "happy and bubbly" for me.  Jonathan Young does an AMAZING job with "metalizing" these songs. My only regret is that it took me so long to find his music. Here is "Be Prepared" from the Lion King.

Here (Lucian Remix) by Alessia Cara

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

This song was one I had liked the original version of for a while. However, everywhere I went, the song was playing. I felt like I couldn't escape it at all. Eventually, I grew really tired of the song. It had sort of seemed ruined for me, as many songs have been in the past because it was so overplayed. Then, the remix came out and I was reminded of all the things I loved about it to begin with. I highly recommend this one. I hope you all like it too!

Rave in the Grave by Aronchupa and Little Sis Nora

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

I have mentioned before how Aronchupa is a little quirky, but her songs and videos are just always so much fun. This song, Rave in the Grave is about how a girl deals with the loss of her Grandmother. Even though she knows that it is hard to be without her Grandmother, she is in a better place, dancing in the afterlife. It's a message that hits a little close to home, in a fun upbeat way. I hope you all enjoy it!

Underground by Lindsey Stirling

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

The moment the first few notes played in this song I was hooked. I LOVE Lindsey Stirling. Growing up playing the violin was a little hard because I could always hear the beauty and potential it had to play modern music. All of my friends thought I was crazy for not playing the flute or guitar or something a bit more mainstream. Lindsey has always played the kind of music I heard in my head while I was practicing and I think that is why her music always speaks to me like it does. This Video was so beautiful and so put well put together. I love the sci-fi fantasy twists she adds to her music and incorporates into her videos. It's like she's reaching out to all the nerds like me who love a bit of everything. :)

Mambo Rap by Parov Stelar

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia again!

This song, Mambo Rap always makes me happy when I hear it. Parov Stelar always seems to put a smile on my face. The video showcases Fik-Shun Stegali who was the So You Think You Can Dance Season 10 winner. For this video, he choreographed his whole dance. It was really cool to see his personal take on the song through his moves. It was so well put together it seemed like the song was made just for his style of dance. It was also really cool to see him doing something in the spotlight after leaving the show. It seems like far too often, people win these shows and then drop off the face of the earth.

I hope you all like this one!

Little Swing by Aronchupa Feat. Little Sis Nora

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

Aronchupa is one of those weird quirky artists that you listen to out of curiosity and then end up loving completely. She is definitely not for everyone, but I love her stuff. I have yet to find a song of hers I don't like, which is pretty rare for me.

This song, Little Swing is a fun goofy Electroswing song that I find myself dancing to with my little cousins when they come over and we love it!

Midnight by Swingrowers

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

As you all know I LOVE older cartoons and I love Halloween. This song and video combine those two of my favorite things with another, Electroswing. I fell in love with this song IMMEDIATELY and I just had to share it. Let me know what you think!

Glorious by Macklemore Feat. Skylar Grey

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

When I first heard this song it was because I had watched the Episode of Elder's REACT where they reviewed this video. It was so sweet to see Macklemore going out of his way to make all of his Grandmother's dreams coming true for her 100th birthday. With my grandmother passing away so recently, it's so hard to see because I would have loved to do something like this for her. She was only 68 years young when she passed and it was really hard. She had been so full of life and then she became really sick really fast and nothing could be done to help it. But now, at least she isn't suffering anymore and it is so touching to see someone else celebrating that relationship with their Grandmother. This was a great video especially when you could see his Grandmother's face light up with each new surprise.

Below the music video I also shared the video for Elder's REACT that showed me about this song. I hope you all enjoy it like I did!

Bold by the Highfields

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

To be honest, I am not sure how I feel about this one. I originally heard it on a commercial on YouTube and I ended up using Shazam to figure out what the song was. It was catchy, but I couldn't really decide whether or not I liked it. What do you guys think?

Giddy on Up by Laura Bell Bundy

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

So, you were probably greatly surprised by our song choice today. As most of you know, I cannot stand most country music. I don't know why, but I really don't care for it. However, this song is so fun and goofy. I first heard it while playing Just Dance with my sister and it quickly became one of our favorite songs to dance to. For whatever reason, all morning this song was stuck in my head so I figured I would make it the song of the day. Let me know what you guys think!

If you have any ideas for songs we should have for upcoming Cordelia's Playlist send us a Tweet @CordyCross with the #CCSongofTheDay and I'll check it out and give my thoughts on it. :)

TRNDSTTR By Black Coast

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Today is another sort of mellow day like yesterday so I have been listening to a lot of the similar type of music. My coworkers used to always tell me that they could tell what kind of mood I was in based on the kind of music I was blasting in my office in the morning. I used to think they were crazy, but I never really realized how accurate that was. This song is a newer one that I started listening to based on a recommendation from my sister and I really liked it. So I thought I would share it with all of you. I hope you all enjoy it!

We Rise by San Holo

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

Today has been a sort of mellow relaxing sort of day for me. I know it's a bit odd, but when I have these kinds of slow days I really enjoy listening to beat-heavy dance music that doesn't really have a lot of words. It helps me sort of focus in on what I am trying to do. That being said, today's song of the day is We Rise by San Holo.

Lost in the Rhythm by Jamie Berry and Octavia Rose

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It is not real secret that I absolutely love Electroswing music. I don't know specifically what it is, but I just love the way it makes me want to get up and dance. This one specifically is no exception, even as I am writing this post I find myself dancing to the music in my seat. I hope you all enjoy it too!

The Devil's Bleeding Crown by Volbeat

Absolute Zero by Stone Sour

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

When you listen to this one, the words sound all sad and depressing, but the song itself is just so catchy. I can't help blasting the song and singing along off-key every time it comes on. What do you think of it?

Bad Karma by Axel Thesleff

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

One of my favorite things about the Trap Nation Youtube Channel is that they find a lot of popular songs that have been remixed and recreated in the techno, electronic, and trap genres even though originally they may have been rap, hip hop, or all kinds of other types of music. This version of Bad Karma is one I listen to almost daily.

Origin by Far Out

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace.

Techno and electronic instrumental music are usually my goto types of music to listen to when I am really trying to focus on something. It helps me zero in on the task at hand and it keeps me motivated. This is one of the reasons why I love groups like the Glitch Mob and Assemblage 23 so much. Far Out is a group that I found recently, and it has quickly become one of my favorite go to groups. I even added them to my playlist called FOCUS on Spotify. I feel like this song would have been perfect for a videogame too, something like Tron that has a heavy technology setting. What do you guys think of this one?

Stressed Out (Tomsize Remix) by Twenty One Pilots

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Twenty One Pilots is one of those groups that doesn't have a single song that I don't like, so when I saw that someone had remixed some of their music I was skeptical to say the least. I listen to the TrapNation Youtube Channel a lot as background music when I am working on things. When I started listening to this song, I was pleasantly surprised and almost love it as much as the original. Tomsize did a great job of remixing the song without destroying the original sound. I hope you all like this version, and in the comments, please let me know if you like this one or the orignal better.

Supposed To Be By Icon for Hire

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Icon for Hire has a great way of having their lyrics tell a story in their songs. They are always filled with great emotion and conflict without being too story heavy to enjoy the actual song. This one describes how the singer is struggling with finding herself and who she is supposed to be, while being lost in her overwhelming emotions. This makes it the kind of song everyone can relate to. I hope you like it! This is Supposed to Be by Icon for Hire.

Kill or Be Killed by New Years Day

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Here is another one I checked out at the recommendation of a friend. I still can't really decide if I like it or not. I know I like the instrumental track to this one, but I am sort of hot and cold with the lead singer's voice. What do all of you think? Do you know of another great song by the band that you like better?

Barrels of Whiskey - The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

This morning, this song popped up in my recommended watch list and I just had to check it out. So far, I really like this band. After hearing this first song, I checked out a few of their other songs. Their style is an Irish folk crossover with a bit of metal despite being based in Germany. I really liked them and I think you will too, here is Barrels of Whiskey by the O'Reillys and the Paddyhats:

Drink by Alestorm

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

As you all know, this weekend is St. Patrick's Day weekend. Tons of people are going out and celebrating tonight because the holiday falls on a Sunday. When it comes to celebrating the holiday, many people go out and have a drink or two, they also tend to dance around and be happy and excited and celebrate their Irish pride. Here in Chicago, they even Dye the river green every year to celebrate.

Technically, Alestorm is a Scottish band, but their song Drink is the perfect companion to a St. Patrick's Day Celebration in spirit. I hope you all enjoy it!

Bury Me Alive by We Are the Fallen

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

I started listening to We are the Fallen because my sister showed them to me a bit ago. They definitely seem to be inspired by Amy Lee and the rest of the Evanescence style. I love it when I can find a metal or heavy rock band with a strong female voice like Carly Smithson.

If you like to listen to metal music with a melodic female lead with a great range, I recommend you listen to We are the Fallen.

What If I Was Nothing? by All That Remains

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

I LOVE it when a heavier rock or metal band has a singer that can handle the heavier parts of their music with screaming or shouting but still has an awesome voice when it comes to the deeper more emotion heavy melodic singing too. All That Remains is another one of those great bands that has that perfect balance between a heavier sound and a lighter one. If you haven't listened to this band before, but you love an alternative sound when it comes to your music as well as heavier music I highly recommend you give them a listen.

Gülümse Kaderine by Tarkan

This song is one that I actually stumbled onto while viewing a friend's profile on a forum site that I go to. I wish I could say that I understand the lyrics, but I'd totally be lying. The Mountain by Three Days Grace

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

I know I just shared a new Three Days Grace song a few days ago, but I just felt I had to share this one too. As a Three Days Grace loyal fan, I was really surprised at how much I liked the music from their new album. I was really worried I wouldn't enjoy it as much as their older stuff because Adam Gontier had left. However, Matt Walst does a really amazing job at performing in a way that we as fans expect from a Three Days Grace performance. If you haven't listened to this song yet, I highly recommend you do.

Right Left Wrong by Three Days Grace

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

I have been listening to Three Days Grace for YEARS and they are easily one of my favorite bands. This song was one I fell in love with right away. My boyfriend and I first heard it while driving to my mom's house for family dinner. We loved it so much that we plugged my phone into the car and listened to the song on repeat for the rest of the drive. I will admit I was really worried that their sound would change too much when Adam Gontier left and Matt Walst joined the band as their new singer. However, I was really pleasantly surprised with this song, and I think all of you will be too. :)

Glycerine by Bush

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace,

Here is Glycerine by Bush.

Lyrics:

It must be your skin that I'm sinking in It must be for real 'cause now I can feel And I didn't mind It's not my kind, it's not my time to wonder why Everything gone white Everything's grey Now you're here Now you're away I don't want this Remember that I'll never forget where you're at Don't let the days go by Glycerine, Glycerine I'm never alone I'm alone all the time Are you at one, or do you lie We live in a wheel where everyone steals But when we rise it's like strawberry fields I treated you bad, you bruise my face I couldn't love you more you've got a beautiful taste Don't let the days go by Could've been easier on you I couldn't change though I wanted to It should have been easier by three Our old friend fear and you and me Glycerine, Glycerine Don't let the days go by Glycerine Don't let the days go by.... Glycerine, Glycerine Glycerine, Glycerine Bad moon white again Bad moon white again As she falls around me I needed you more when you wanted us less I could not kiss, just regress It might just be clear simple and plain Well that's just fine that's just one of my names Don't let the days go by It could've been easier on you, you, you Glycerine, Glycerine, Glycerine, Glycerine

Ex's and Oh's by Elle King

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

Elle King has that classic older styled voice that she combines with a newer modern style. I really enjoy this song, and it's even more fun to sing! I hope you enjoy it!

Lyrics:

Well, I had me a boy, turned him into a man
I showed him all the things that he didn't understand
Whoa, and then I let him go
Now, there's one in California who's been cursing my name
'Cause I found me a better lover in the UK
Hey, hey, until I made my getaway
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
'Cause I'm the best baby that they never gotta keep
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave
Ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all
They won't let go
Ex's and oh's
I had a summer lover down in New Orleans
Kept him warm in the winter, left him frozen in the spring
My, my, how the seasons go by
I get high, and I love to get low
So the hearts keep breaking, and the heads just roll
You know that's how the story goes
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
'Cause I'm the best baby that they never gotta keep
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave
Ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all
They won't let go
My ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all
They won't let go
Ex's and oh's
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
Climbing over mountains and a-sailing over seas
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave
My ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all
They won't let go
Ex's and the oh, oh, oh's they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make 'em all
They won't let go
Ex's and oh's

All Around Me by Flyleaf

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia!

This one was a song I used to listen to almost every day. Lacey's voice always made me connect with her songs on a personal level because there was always so much emotion behind it.

I can't wait to hear what you guys think of this one!

Lyrics:
My hands are searching for you My arms are outstretched towards you I feel you on my fingertips My tongue dances behind my lips for you This fire rising through my being Burning I'm not used to seeing you I'm alive, I'm alive I can feel you all around me Thickening the air I'm breathing Holding on to what I'm feeling Savoring this heart that's healing My hands float up above me And you whisper you love me And I begin to fade Into our secret place The music makes me sway The angels singing say we are alone with you I am alone and they are too with you I'm alive, I'm alive I can feel you all around me Thickening the air I'm breathing Holding on to what I'm feeling Savoring this heart that's healing And so I cry The light is white And I see you I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive I can feel you all around me Thickening the air I'm breathing Holding on to what I'm feeling Savoring this heart that's healing Take my hand I give it to you Now you owe me All I am You said you would never leave me I believe you I believe I can feel you all around me Thickening the air I'm breathing Holding on to what I'm feeling Savoring this heart that's healed

Tyrant by Disturbed

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

Disturbed is one of those bands that I have been listening to for years and love ALL of their songs. It's pretty rare that you can find a band that undergoes several major transformations in sound without you disliking any of it. That is exactly how I feel about Disturbed. Their sound may have changed from time to time but David's voice draws you in no matter what the background music is.

I hope you like this one!

Lyrics:

Can we make amends, do we just pretend
That we're over all the violence
Are we done with this? Put it all to rest
Turn the screams now into silence
Will you be a man? Can you make a stand?
Will you own up or deny it all?
All the time we lost, was it worth the cost
Of breaking a family in two?
Destroyed all we knew
A tyrant, so defiant
Lonely as your heart is sinking
Consequences, no defenses
If only you had been thinking
Compliant, for a moment
Why did both of us have to believe that we were right?
Tyrant!
Can I clear my mind? Leave it all behind
Start to pick up all the pieces
Can I hide the scars? Just like prison bars
That have always seemed to confine me
Will we save it all? Even from the fall
Is there time left for revival
Can I be convinced that some hope exists?
With these wounds cut so deep in my soul
Can we become whole?
A tyrant, so defiant
Lonely as your heart is sinking
Consequences, no defenses
If only you had been thinking
Compliant, for a moment
Why did both of us have to believe that we were right?
Tyrant!
There's so many things that I wanted to say
But the love turned to hate we kept pushing away
And the words that came out turned it into a mess
And it's like pulling teeth cause you'll never confess
Now the damage is done
The hurt and the pain when nobody has won
Have we forgot it's your blood inside of my veins
That feeds my heart
A tyrant, so defiant
Lonely as your heart is sinking
Consequences, no defenses
If only you had been thinking
Compliant, for a moment
Why did both of us have to believe that we were right?
Tyrant!

The Thunder Rolls Cover by All That Remains

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

This song was originally written and performed by Garth Brooks, but I absolutely love the version All That Remains did. Which version do you like better?

Lyrics:

Three thirty in the morning
Not a soul in sight
The city's looking like a ghost town
On a moonless summer night
Raindrops on the windshield
There's a storm moving in
He's heading back from somewhere
That he never should have been
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Every light is burning
In a house across town
She's pacing by the telephone
In her faded flannel gown
Asking for a miracle
Hoping she's not right
Praying it's the weather
That's kept him out all night
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls (the thunder rolls)
And the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night (on a sleepless night)
As the storm blows on out of control
Deep in her heart
As the thunder rolls
She's waiting by the window
When he pulls into the drive
She rushes out to hold him
Thankful he's alive
But on the wind and rain
A strange new perfume blows
And the lightning flashes in her eyes
And he knows that she knows
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
The thunder rolls (the thunder rolls)
And the lightning strikes
Another love grows cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm blows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
As the thunder rolls (deep in her heart)
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
The thunder rolls
The thunder rolls on
And the thunder rolls

Thunder by Imagine Dragons

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace,

It's Cordelia.

When I first heard this one, it was on the radio in the grocery store, and I didn't even recognize it was Imagine Dragons. I rushed home and Googled the lyrics because I liked it so much. I highly recommend this one!

Zombie Cover by Bad Wolves

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace,

Dolores O'Riordan from the Cranberries was such an amazing vocalist. Their music was so great that it was still popular and relevant years later. Just as she was preparing to rerelease a new version of the song along with the band Bad Wolves (who had been longtime fans) she passed away. Their cover of this song is the only one I have heard that I love almost as much as the original. I definitely recommend you check them out their music is amazing.

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

Those of you who have been following Cordelia's Playlist for a while know that I absolutely LOVE Shinedown (and Brent Smith's voice). Here is another of one of my favorite Shinedown songs!

Judas by Fozzy

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia,

Those of you who know me know that I love to watch wrestling. Even though at times, the WWE can be a little cheesy, I absolutely love watching it. One wrestler who I have loved to watch over the years was Chris Jericho. His Gimmick with his "list" is a little goofy, but it never gets old and it brings a smile to my face each time he's on screen. A couple of years ago when this song first came out I listened to it out of loyalty to Jericho and the entertainment he's given over the years. I figured it couldn't hurt. Ever since I listened to this song that very first time I loved it. I hope you will all love it too!

Awake and Alive by Skillet

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

When it comes to my rock and metal music I am a sucker for a raspy voice. John Cooper definitely falls into that category. When he sings, his voice has so much emotion in his lyrics, and it's nearly impossible not to sing along.

Here is Awake and Alive, I hope you all like it!

Here are the Lyrics:

I'm at war with the world and they
Try to pull me into the dark
I struggle to find my faith
As I'm slippin' from your arms
It's getting harder to stay awake
And my strength is fading fast
You breathe into me at last
I'm awake I'm alive
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right here
Right now, right now
Stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive
I'm at war with the world cause I
Ain't never gonna sell my soul
I've already made up my mind
No matter what I can't be bought or sold
When my faith is getting weak
And I feel like giving in
You breathe into me again
I'm awake I'm alive
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right here
Right now, right now
Stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up
In the dark
I can feel you in my sleep
In your arms I feel you breathe into me
Forever hold this heart that I will give to you
Forever I will live for you
I'm awake I'm alive
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right here
Right now, right now
Stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up
Waking up waking up

Make a Move by Icon for Hire

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

Icon for Hire is a band I totally missed when I went my emo/scene phase back in high school, but I found them a bit later and was not disappointed. I really enjoy their music and I love their lead singer's strong voice. They remind me of Flyleaf and Paramore.

I hope you all love this one!

Paralyzer by Finger Eleven

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Here is a song I listen to all the time. I find it odd that I hadn't shared it before now. It's another one of those songs that you can't help singing along to like no one is listening. It's best enjoyed while singing at the top of your lungs.

Do Not Disturb by Halestorm

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Here is another great Halestorm song. Lzzy Hale's voice always makes me want to sing along at the top of my lungs like no one is listening. Halestorm's music is just so infectious. I hope you all enjoy this one, the video is really good too. It has that feel of a cheesy old horror movie. It makes the experience of listening to the song so much better ( I didn't even think that was possible when I first heard it on the radio).

Tacky by Weird Al Yankovic

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

I have absolutely loved Weird Al since I was a kid, and there is no way that I could pick just one song from him as my favorite. However, I really love how catchy this one is and I also love how he had so many artists and celebrities join him in the video. It is just an all-around fun song that I can't help singing along to.

Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

Justin Timberlake is one of those artists that most 90's kids like me will always love even if they don't want to admit it. His music makes me happy when I listen to it, and it is almost always something great to dance to. Here is his song "Can't Stop the Feeling".

Come with Me Now by the Kongos

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

Here is a song that always seems to brighten my mood. I hope you will enjoy it too!

Here are the lyrics:

Come with me now
Come with me now
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna take you down
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna show you how
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna take you down
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna show you how
Afraid to lose control
And caught up in this world
I've wasted time, I've wasted breath
I think I've thought myself to death
I was born without this fear
Now only this seems clear
I need to move, I need to fight
I need to lose myself tonight
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna take you down
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna show you how
I think with my heart and I move with my head
I open my mouth and it's something I've read
I stood at this door before, I'm told
But a part of me knows that I'm growing too old
Confused what I thought with something I felt
Confuse what I feel with something that's real
I tried to sell my soul last night
Funny, he wouldn't even take a bite
Far away
I heard him say (come with me now)
Don't delay
I heard him say (come with me now)
Far away
I heard him say (come with me now)
Don't delay
I heard him say (come with me now)
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna take you down
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna show you how
Afraid to lose control
And caught up in this world
I've wasted time, I've wasted breath
I think I've thought myself to death
I was born without this fear
Now only this seems clear
I need to move, I need to fight
I need to lose myself tonight
Woah come with me now
Woah come with me now
I'm gonna take you down
Woah come with me now

Gone Away by Five Finger Death Punch

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace,

It's Cordelia,

Here is another amazing Five Finger Death Punch song.

I love that their music always tells a story, they aren't just lyrics mashed together in some random way for people to hum along to, they have real meaning and weave a message. This song always reminds me of loss and the hurt that comes with it. It is definitely something I can relate to.

Here are the lyrics:

Maybe in another life
I could find you there
Pulled away before your time
I can't deal, it's so unfair
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it feels
Yeah, it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away
Leaving flowers on your grave
Show that I still care
Black roses and Hail Mary's
I can't bring back what's taken from me
I reach to the sky
And call out your name
Oh please let me trade
I would
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven is so far away
And it stings
Yeah, it stings now
The world is so cold
Now that you've gone away
Gone away
Gone away
Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ooh
Yeah ooh
I reach to the sky
And call out your name
Oh please let me trade
I would
And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven is so far away
And it feels
Yeah, it feels like
Heaven is so far away
And it stings
Yeah, it stings now
The world is so cold
Now that you've gone away
Gone away
Gone away
Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ooh
Yeah, ooh
Yeah, ooh
Yeah, ooh
And it feels, and it feels like
The world is so cold
Now that you've gone away

~*~*~*~*~*~

I hope you enjoy this song!

Riptide by Vance Joy

Hey, all you out there in Cyberspace!

It's Cordelia.

This is another song that I love to listen to while cleaning the house and just having a calm day of doing chores and getting stuff done. It's not super mellow, but it's not the kind of thing you'd hear blaring at a rave either.

Raise Your Glass by Pink

Hey all you out there in Cyberspace!

This song is about celebrating all the things that make you different from the people around you and appreciating them. This is such an important value that is often forgotten. Because of that, we decided to share this song as our first song going into the new year so that we all remember what it stands for.

Happy New Year everyone, and we hope this new year holds all the things you hope for!
